This route is a non-stop circular route that finishes at the lovely cafe Twelve Twenty in old Amersham. There is plenty of parking in the car park across the road from the cafe.

Where does the route go?

The route starts outside Twelve Twenty cafe and goes along the high st and turns right at the mini roundabout up Rectory hill (that’s the first of 2 climbs) and through Amersham on the hill and towards Chesham.  As you leave Amersham on the hill, turn left along Copperkins lane towards Hyde Heath. Go through Hyde Heath and turning left at Hyde end, turn right towards South Heath and the Lee. Follow this road through The Lee and towards St Leonards Church. At the church, turn right and go through Buckland common and at  Cholesbury turn right.
Follow the Chesham road and after a few miles turn left onto Hog Lane and towards Ashley green, crossing over the main road through Ashley green go towards Lye Green and Botley and down to Latimer road.  Follow the route up Hollow way lane (the second climb) back into Amersham on the hill.  Take the roads back to Old Amersham to the Cafe Twelve Twenty for a well earned Cake (or lunch).
