Orchard view Farm back via Coombe hill

Overview

This route is a 27 mile loop with about 21 miles off road with short sections of road.
The loop begins outside the Missenden Abbey and follows the national cycle route 57 along Whitefield Lane and passed Roald Dahl’s Gipsy House and through Angling Spring wood, following the National Cycling Route 57 along Moat Lane, Kiln road and Honour End Lane.

Turn off honour End Lane onto the Bridle Path and when you get to the road go into Hampden House and along the bridle path.  Follow the GPX along bridle paths to the Pink & Lily, down Wardrobes lane and onto bridle paths that join onto the Ridgeway.  Follow the Ridgeway and eventually onto the Phoenix trail (part of the national cycle route 57).

Just before mile 13 turn off the Phoenix trail and turn right and follow the trails to Ilmer and across the Thame road onto another bridle path eventually arriving at Orchard view farm.

After taking a break (coffee and cake!!)  turn left when leaving the cafe and then turn right at Meadle onto the bridle path. turn right and cross over the lower Icknield way and go through Monks Risborough and across the Aylesbury Road and onto the Ridgeway (right) and up through Whiteleaf and over the top and down and across the Rignall road and up towards Coombe hill.

Follow the trail back along the ridge up Cadsden and then across to Coombe hill and down to the Rignall road and back to the Missenden Abbey.
